This policy explains what personal information Constellations Academy collects, why we collect it, who it is shared with, and the control you have over it. We have written it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it properly.

01Who is responsible for your data

Constellations Academy is operated by Politics4Her, founded and led by Yasmina Benslimane. Politics4Her is the controller of the personal information described in this policy, which means we decide what is collected and why.

You can contact us about anything in this policy through our contact page.

02What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name and email address, when you join a waitlist, take our quiz, contact us, or create an account.
• Account details, including your login credentials and any profile information you choose to add.
• Quiz responses, when you complete the Power Archetype quiz, so we can show your result and tailor what we send you.
• Messages you send us, including anything you write through the contact form.
• Community contributions, including posts, comments, and replies inside our community spaces.

Information collected automatically

• Usage data, such as which pages and lessons you viewed, how far through a course you are, and when you last logged in.
• Device and technical data, such as browser type, operating system, approximate location derived from your IP address, and referring website.
• Cookies and similar technologies, described in section 6.

Payment information

When you buy a course, your card details are collected and processed directly by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number. We receive only what we need to run the business, such as confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, the last four digits of the card, and the billing name and country.

03Why we use it

We use personal information to:

• give you access to the courses and community you have purchased
• process payments, issue receipts, and handle refunds
• show you your quiz result and send the breakdown that goes with it
• reply to your questions and provide support
• send you course updates, and marketing emails where you have agreed to receive them
• keep the service secure, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms
• understand which parts of the course are working, so we can improve them
• meet our legal and accounting obligations

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on performing our contract with you for anything needed to deliver the course, your consent for marketing emails and non essential cookies, our legitimate interests in running and improving the service securely, and legal obligation for record keeping such as tax records.

04Marketing emails

If you join a waitlist, take the quiz, or buy a course, we may email you about Constellations Academy. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop essential emails about a course you have paid for, such as receipts, access details, or notice of a schedule change. Those are part of delivering what you bought.

05Your community activity is visible to others

06Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

• Essential cookies, which keep you logged in and let the site function. These cannot be turned off without breaking the service.
• Analytics cookies, which tell us which pages are visited and how people move through the site, in aggregate. This helps us see which lessons people abandon and fix them.
• Marketing cookies, which may be set if we run advertising, so we can measure whether a campaign worked.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies will stop you being able to log in or access your course.

07Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, and we do not trade it. We share it only with the services needed to run Constellations Academy, and only as far as they need it:

• Our course and website platform, which hosts the site, your account, the courses, the community, and our email sending.
• Our payment provider, which processes your card payment and handles refunds.
• Analytics providers, which give us aggregate information about site usage.
• Professional advisers, such as accountants or lawyers, where genuinely necessary.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to disclose information.

Each of these acts on our instructions and is bound to protect your information. If Politics4Her is ever restructured or its assets transferred, your information may transfer as part of that, and this policy will continue to apply until you are told otherwise.

08International transfers

Our members are spread across many countries, and the services we use operate internationally. Your information may therefore be stored or processed outside your own country, including in the United States.

Where information is transferred out of a region with its own data protection rules, such as the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on legally recognised safeguards, including standard contractual clauses with the providers concerned.

09How long we keep it

• Account and course records, for as long as your account is open, and for up to two years after it closes in case you return.
• Payment and tax records, for seven years, because accounting law requires it.
• Marketing contacts, until you unsubscribe, after which we keep a minimal record so we do not email you again by mistake.
• Quiz responses, for up to two years, so we can send the follow up material and understand how the quiz performs.
• Support messages, for two years after the conversation ends.

Community posts remain visible after an account closes unless you ask us to remove them, since deleting one side of a conversation makes the rest incoherent for other members. You can ask, and we will handle it sensibly.

10Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have some or all of the following rights over your personal information:

• Access. Ask for a copy of what we hold about you.
• Correction. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
• Deletion. Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
• Objection and restriction. Object to certain processing, or ask us to pause it.
• Portability. Ask for your information in a machine readable format.
• Withdraw consent. Where we rely on consent, withdraw it at any time.
• Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share your information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the right stands.
• No retaliation. We will never degrade your service or charge you more for exercising any of these rights.

To exercise any of these, contact us through the contact page. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, which usually means confirming you control the email address on the account.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom and you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. We would rather you told us first so we can put it right.

11Security

We use encrypted connections across the site, restrict access to personal information to those who need it, and rely on established providers with their own security programmes.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not pretend otherwise. Please use a strong, unique password for your account, and tell us immediately if you think it has been compromised. If a breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.

12Children

Constellations Academy is for adults. Our service is not directed at anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13Other websites

Our site and course material may link to other websites. This policy does not cover them, and we are not responsible for how they handle your information. Read their policies before sharing anything.

14Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service develops or the law changes. The current version is always on this page with its date at the top. Where changes are significant we will make reasonable effort to tell enrolled members directly rather than quietly updating the page.

15Contact

Questions about this policy, or a request about your own information, can be sent through our contact page. We read everything and reply within two working days.

Our Terms of Service sit alongside this policy and govern your use of the service.
